Some key recommendation for sustainable UX design

Reducing data loads Improving accessibility Minimizing unnecessary features

(Also important: evaluating long-term impacts and indirect user behavior changes)

What really stuck with me after reading this book is that sustainability in UX isn't just about reducing digital waste or making eco-friendly interfaces — it's about responsibility. We (designers) shape how people interact with the world, and that means we can either reinforce harmful patterns or create better, more thoughtful ones.

This book made me realize that sustainability isn't a separate “topic” to add to our work — it is the work. It’s about caring: for users, for the planet, and for the long-term impact of the things we create. It’s a reminder that good design doesn’t just serve business goals or user convenience — it should serve life.
